Dr Major R Ramakrishnan, the ENT consultant Surgeon with 12 years of ENT experience , is an Exserviceman who rendered his service in Army Medical Corps of Indian Army. After completing his graduation from Government Medical College, Chengalpattu, he joined the Indian Army. He has served in Jammu and Kashmir, Secunderabad, Rajasthan and Car Nicobar Islands during Tsunami relief. After his release, he completed his post graduation from Command Hospital Air Force, Bangalore in ENT securing 2nd position in RGUHS, Karnataka.
He completed his Diplomate National Board form National Board of examinations. With love for teaching young medical students, he worked as Associate Professor, Department of ENT, SRM Medical college, Kattangulathur. He has since started practicing on his own to provide optimum care with respect to ENT ailments.
He is a very friendly person who takes a holistic view of the disease. A skilled surgeon, he is trained in Endoscopic and Microscopic Ear surgeries, Endoscopic sinus surgery, Tonsillectomy, Adenoidectomy, Micro Laryngeal surgeries of Larynx, Head and Neck surgeries, Coblation and LASER surgeries of ENT.
